I’m a sucker for anything leopard hence the diy nail art.

My winning combo for any manicure is Essie First Base Base Coat, Essie or OPI nail polish and Seche Vite Top Coat.

For this look I used OPI nail polish in San Tan-Tonio as the base color and made the leopard spots with Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Black.

Tip: Make sure each layer of polish is completely dry before adding the next layer. Especially after the you paint the spots, make sure they are completely dry before adding the top coat.

Monday IP {Inspirational Post}

Sometimes we all need an extra reminder on how to get through the day, especially on a Monday morning. So I’ve decided each Monday I’m going to do an “IP” (Inspirational Post). In the Tech world “IP” is know as your Internet Protocol Address and its role has been characterized as the following:  A name indicates what we seek. An address indicates where it is. A route indicates how to get there. I think this translates into describing inspirational posts just as well.

DIY Distressed Wood Hooks

This DIY request actually came from a good friend who loved the Anthropologie wood hooks seen below but didn’t want to pay the cost of $30 a piece. I was able to recreate the look for around $10, the biggest expense are the hooks that will run you around $6-8 each. Also, I’ve been looking for a resource to get reclaimed wood and have yet to find one, so I had to distress the wood myself. If anyone knows of any places in Arizona to get reclaimed wood please leave a comment!

How to Make Cake Pops

These delicious cake pops are much easier to make than they look. I promise you no one will have just one. I figured about 4 cake pops equal 1 cupcake, so don’t feel so bad when you go for seconds, or thirds….right!?!

DIY Tassel Necklace

Trend Alert!! Tassels are popping up in a lot of jewelry pieces, especially necklaces and earrings. I saw a tassel necklace at Anthropologie and wanted to recreate the look myself. I’ve been making jewelry since middle school and I think I might have a slight obsession with it. The one day dream is to design my own line…for now, it’s just a hobby. This week’s DIY video will show you the steps to make your own tassel necklace and you can purchase the DIY craft kit that has all the supplies you need at the Pushpin TV Etsy store.
